George Brunemann represents what happens when an honest person has the courage to run for political office. His opponent, Cindy Abrams, has spent twice what George has for his entire campaign on just the media portion of her campaign. The opposition is hoping to overpower any productive debate on issues with unending noise.
The truth is quite simple. We need to say NO to the Professional Politicians and YES to someone willing to dig into the problems and make constructive change.
The difference between George Brunemann and his opponent could not be clearer than the contrast between their most recent Campaign Finance reports. (You can search for these at https://www.ohiosos.gov/campaign-finance/search/ ).
Brunemann | Opponent | |
Balance on hand 2/28/2024 | $19,915.68 | $193,758.48 |
Jan-Feb 2024 Contributions plus In Kind | $40,448.79 | $178,155.71 |
Percent of Contributions from PACs | 0.74% | 82.42% |
Number of Individuals and Average Donation | 85 - $350.76 | 38 - $686.71 |
Expenditures Total | < $50,000 | > $300,000 |
Media buy on behalf of candidate | $0 | $94,732.91 |
This should frighten every voter looking for a candidate that will represent the will of the people.
George Brunemann is not a "professional politician". He is someone trying to take an active role in solving the problems in Ohio.
His opponent is beholden to the PACs and lobbyists that control her donations and to the "Ohio House Republican Alliance" that is advocating on behalf of all the representatives that joined the Democrats in selecting the House Speaker and the agenda for the legislation.
Professional politicians are destroying our state with out of control spending, evidenced by the > $94K media blitz shows the extent to which they will go to hold onto power.
You have a choice: Business as usual in Columbus or honesty, integrity and commitment to the taxpaying voter.
On March 19th it is time to say "NO" to Cindy Abrams and the Professional Politicians - VOTE FOR GEORGE!
Rocky Boiman: radio host, sports commentator and all around great conservative, gives his impression of George Brunemann.

My opponent, Cindy Abrams, is fond of saying that "Actions speak louder than words."
On this we agree.
- Cindy voted with the entire Democrat Caucus for a more liberal House Speaker
- Cindy voted with the entire Democrat Caucus on the HB2 extravagant expenditures
- Cindy sat with the entire Democrat Caucus to prevent vote on SB 83 to take DEI out of schools
- Cindy single handedly shut down the Second Amendment Preservation Act
The damage caused by these actions is significant and ongoing.
The most egregious effect was the passage of the extreme "Reproductive Rights" amendment. Here is how Cincinnati Right to Life Laura Strietman pointed out in their newsletter:
A year ago, we anticipated that 2023 would be the year we would make Ohio abortion free. After all, Ohio carried the conservative vote for President Trump in 2020, while in 2022 electing a super majority of Republicans in both the State House and the Senate, Senator J.D. Vance and three conservative Ohio Supreme Court justices. We believed our years of efforts shaping the voice for life in Columbus would allow life to prevail in Ohio. Oh, Ohio, how wrong we were. Is Ohio really the heart of it all?
How did we get here? There was a sequence of events in our state that began in January of 2023 when the anticipated conservative pro-life Ohio Speaker of the House was not elected due to 22 Republicans siding with the Democrat Reps to vote in Jason Stephens (R) instead of Derek Merrin (R). The abortion steamroll just seemed to kick into high-gear. Here we are weeping for the prebom and their mothers in this tragic place of full-term abortion enshrinement in Ohio's Constitution. Is Ohio the heart of it all?
George has been fighting for Fiscal Sanity, Limiting the size of Government and Better Education outcomes for his entire public career. Our campaign is based on the same principles and process that the grassroots revolution of 2010 did to halt the expanse of the last Democrat regime. It is time to put a true voter representative into the Ohio House.
My interview with the Scott Wartman was in the Cincinnati Enquirer on Wednesday, March 13th.
It was a fair article but the key is the final paragraph:
Abrams did not respond to messages and questions sent by The Enquirer. She told Gongwer News Service she stands by her vote. "I voted for what was best for the institution – that being the Ohio House," Abrams told Gongwer.
- First question:
- Why is she so afraid to talk to reporters, radio hosts or anyone that can ask a question???
- Real question:
- Why is her explaination the she voted with the entire Democrat caucus was that was "best for the institution"???
- What about voting for what is best for the constituents?
- Does she actually believe that the goal of a Republican supermajority is to break rank with the majority of the Republicans and to vote with the Democrats?
- If it really was best for the "institution", why did the Ohio Republican Party vote to censure her for this supposedly "best" vote?
- Why is her explaination the she voted with the entire Democrat caucus was that was "best for the institution"???
Do we really want someone to "represent us" that is beholden to the liberal wing of the Republicans and to the Democrats?
Cindy Abrams has never had a challenger and is unapologetic about her joining the Democrats to disrupt Ohio's conservative initiatives. Her campaign dwarfs ours by a factor of 10 to 1. She has spread a neverending and increasingly rediculous claims about what we stand for.
Elections should be based on facts and qualifications, not on the size of your checkbook and your ability to promulgate lies.
Do your homework and pick the candidate most likely to follow through for you in Columbus!
Tom Zawistowski of WeThePeopleConvention.org explains his experience in working with George Brunemann over the last 15 years and why this makes George the best choice for the voters on March 19th!

Dan Regenold: owner of FrameUSA and active leader of many education and advocacy efforts, talks about his impression of George as a candidate for the Ohio House.
If you believe in "the right of the people to keep and bear Arms, shall not be infringed", you may want to listen to Chris Dorr's evaluation of the District 29 Candidates.
"You cannot expect a problem to be fixed by the people who created it.
Now is the time for true problem solvers to step up
and make meaningful changes that benefit the taxpaying voters."
Running for office is not something that I ever expected to be doing but our current representatives are doing nothing to help the taxpayers who elected them. Over the last couple of years I have been focused on township and school district issues. In both cases the soaring rate of property taxes is strongly influenced by poor policies enacted in Columbus. We need to take action at the foundation of the problem and we will need the support of all dedicated citizens to win in March and have a chance to start making real change in Ohio.
Focus on:
● Restoring Individual Liberty ● Reducing Taxpayer Burden ● Improve Education Quality/Funding
