In my engineering career I have enjoyed working on challenging projects that involve complex physics and multiple competing systems. My solutions have changed the state of the art in multiple industries and typically involve unconventional approaches that leverage fresh "out of the box" vision of the problem. I am hoping to apply that same process to address the issues in Columbus that are negatively impacting voters across Ohio and here in Hamilton County.

There are however very significant difference between Engineering and Politics. In Engineering, the laws involved are universal and unchanging. Issac Newton's laws of motion are just as true now as they were when he first wrote them down in Mathematica in 1687. The laws apply to everyone equally and are not subject to interpretation. The exact opposite is true in the realm of politics. The party/people in charge are free to change the rules whenever they like with little to no consequence. The riots of 2020 were "mostly peaceful" protests but the people let into the capitol and escorted by the police were an "insurrection". Don't like your opponent, make sure your friend gets elected as a judge or secretary of state and they can have him removed from the ballot. Need to get universal abortion but cannot get a law through the legislature, spend $40 million plus influencing voters with advertising made up entirely of lies and boom - you can get a constitutional amendment that would never come from any reasonable legal process.

So that is the challenge, to bring logical, data-based decision processes to a system that currently runs on money and influence. The voters deserve a representative that is willing to go after the root cause of high taxes with poor results. Join me in this quest to bring positive change to Ohio and its residents.
